Regional Workplace Safety Lead

We have a great opportunity for an experience Workplace Safety Lead to join our Global Occupier Services - Facilities Management team. You will be working regional across EMEA supporting one of our main clients.

Your role will be to oversee safety and risk in support of the strategies and initiatives as set by the clients Workplace Safety, Real Estate Services and related teams. Working closely with your peers you will be integral when it comes to implementing safety programmes to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment.

There are three key areas of focus: Site Specific Workplace Safety Plan, Risk Management and Compliance.

Core Responsibilities will include but limited to:

  • Collaborate with the Global Workplace Safety, Enterprise Risk Management and Environmental Sustainability leads to implement plans relating to the IFM service
  • Utilizing the Client\xe2\x80\x99s regulatory compliance and EHS software systems, inspect organisation facilities and job sites to detect potential workplace hazards. Determine corrective or preventative measures.
  • Conduct periodic safety inspections on all job sites to ensure safety procedures relating to the built environment are in place.
  • Coordinate with the Enterprise Risk Management Team to perform Physical Climate Risk Site Assessment Client\xe2\x80\x99s online audit portal.
  • Provide regular reporting to Client for site specific evaluations pertaining to Physical Climate Risk
  • Training and upskill IFM managers
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections at Client locations relating to the IFM service being provided.
  • Plan and implement risk management, safety policies and procedures in compliance with all county and local rules and regulations, relating to the IFM service being provided;
  • Liaise annually with the enterprise risk management team regarding physical climate risk as it pertains to critical locations.
Qualifications and experience:
  • At least 3-5 years of direct safety experience
  • Proficient in the use of MS Teams and Office Applications (Words, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) required; Velocity EHS, Enhesa and Tableau experience a plus.
  • Ability to read, analyse and interpret common scientific technical journals and legal documents. Utilize good judgment and sound reasoning.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 45001, IS014001 and ISM / ISPS standards and qualified as an internal auditor as it pertains to facility management operations.
  • NEBOSH would be an advantage
