Job Description

Fil Cymru Care Services are recruiting Registered Nurses in Swansea and Surrounding Area for Agency work in Nursing Homes in the local area. You can chose your hours to suit your personal circumstances the shifts are available NOW on days/nights and on weekends.

Job Purpose

To facilitate the nursing care for the service-users within the home, acting as primary nurse for care teams..

Skills Required:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills together with the ability to communicate with a range of people using a variety of communication methods Excellent written skills for writing reports Ability to effectively risk assess and develop practices to manage those risks A passion for working with people and providing person-centred care Leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate others The capacity to work under pressure and to take a problem-solving approach to work Effective organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise own and others' workload An understanding of accountability to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications and experience:

Essential:

NMC registered. CRB/POV A clearance A minimum of six months post registration experience. The ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. Ability to lead a team of care staff. Self-motivated and enthusiastic, reliable and conscientious. Have a clear understanding of the role and responsibilities of a registered nurse.

Desirable:

A full clean driving license. Previous experience within a nursing home setting.
Job Type: Zero hours contract

Pay: 23.00-26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 11 - 66 per week
