Care Home Manager
to join our team. We are a well-regarded service, graded highly by the Care Inspectorate, and we pride ourselves on providing a warm, family-like atmosphere where residents feel safe, valued, and at home.
About the Role
As our Care Home Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and quality of life for our residents. We are looking for a compassionate leader with a deep knowledge of senior care and the ability to develop personalised care plans that truly make a difference.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Supervising and managing a team
of dedicated care professionals.
Developing and implementing care plans
that meet the individual needs of our residents.
Ensuring compliance
with all relevant regulations, including those from the Care Inspectorate.
Providing leadership and guidance
to all staff members.
Overseeing the administration of medications and treatments.
Monitoring and assessing
the physical, mental, and emotional health of our residents.
Providing dementia care and support
to those with memory impairments.
Building strong relationships
with residents, their families, and external healthcare professionals.
About You
We are seeking a candidate with a strong track record in a leadership role within a care home setting. You must be passionate about providing exceptional care for seniors and have the following qualifications:
Previous experience
in a senior care, nursing, or related field.
Knowledge of assisted living regulations
and best practices.
Strong leadership and communication skills
with the ability to effectively manage a team.
A recognised professional qualification
in health or social care (e.g., SVQ Level 4, Registered Manager's Award, or equivalent).
A compassionate and patient demeanour.
