Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic
Registered Care Home Manager
to lead our well-established care home in Glossop. This is a key leadership role for a passionate individual with a
Level 5 in Leadership and Management
and a proven track record in delivering outstanding
elderly care
.
The ideal candidate will be a confident leader, preferably with a nursing background (
RGN/RMN
), and possess in-depth knowledge of
CQC
regulations. If you are a motivated

or an experienced
Deputy Manager

Key Responsibilities
Hold legal responsibility as the
Registered Manager
with the
CQC
, ensuring the service consistently meets and exceeds all regulatory standards.
Provide inspirational leadership, mentoring, and development to the entire team to deliver first-class, person-centred
elderly care
.
Oversee all operational aspects of the home, including budget management, staffing, and resource allocation, to ensure a commercially sustainable and high-quality service.
Drive continuous
quality improvement
through robust audit processes, clinical governance, and the implementation of best practices.
Foster a positive, open culture that empowers staff and promotes the well-being, dignity, and independence of all residents.
Act as the clinical and operational lead, ensuring all care delivered is safe, effective, and of the highest standard.
Qualifications & Experience Required
Essential:
A
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
(or equivalent).
Essential:
A minimum of
5 years of experience in a UK care home
setting, with at least 2 years in a senior management role (e.g.,
Home Manager
,
Deputy Manager
, or
Clinical Manager
).
A nursing qualification (
RGN
or
RMN
) with an active
NMC PIN
is highly preferred.
Proven, in-depth knowledge of
CQC regulations
and a history of achieving a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' rating.
A capable, confident leader with a passion for delivering first-class care and shaping a high-performing team.
Strong commercial acumen and experience in managing budgets and resources.
