Registered Manager: Launch a Specialist LD Therapeutic Home in Huddersfield (Up to 80k Package)

brand-new, 2-bedded therapeutic children's home

for young people with learning disabilities (LD).

Your Mission:

As our Registered Manager, you'll be instrumental in taking this exciting project from inception through successful

Ofsted registration

and beyond. Your core focus will be establishing a high-quality residential home centered on therapeutic LD care.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the complete establishment

and successful Ofsted registration of our new LD children's home in Huddersfield, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.

Develop and implement innovative, person-centered therapeutic care plans

that empower young people with learning disabilities to reach their full potential.

Recruit, train, mentor, and empower a skilled and compassionate team

, fostering a positive, collaborative, and therapeutic work environment.

Ensure seamless compliance

with all Ofsted regulations, National Minimum Standards, and the latest best practices in therapeutic LD care.

Manage budgets, operations, and referrals

effectively to ensure the smooth, sustainable running of the home and delivery of high-quality care.

Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships

with local authorities, families, educational providers, healthcare professionals, and other key UK care sector stakeholders.
What You'll Bring:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare

or equivalent.

Proven, successful experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager

in a children's residential setting. A strong understanding of LD and therapeutic approaches is essential. A

valid UK Driving Licence
