spearhead the launch of a brand-new, 2-bedded therapeutic children's home in Huddersfield
for young people with learning disabilities (LD).

Your Role:
As the Registered Manager, you'll be instrumental in taking this exciting project from its very beginning through to successful
OFSTED registration and beyond
. You'll be responsible for establishing a high-quality residential home with a core focus on therapeutic LD care.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Establishment:
Lead the complete establishment and successful OFSTED registration of our new LD children's home in Huddersfield, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met and a strong foundation for quality care is built.
Therapeutic Care Development:
Develop and implement innovative,
person-centred therapeutic care plans and approaches
that truly empower young people with learning disabilities to achieve their full potential and experience positive outcomes.
Team Recruitment & Development:
Take the lead in recruiting, training, mentoring, and empowering a
skilled and compassionate team
in Huddersfield, fostering a positive, collaborative, and therapeutic work environment that values professional growth and dedication.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure seamless and consistent compliance with all
OFSTED regulations
, National Minimum Standards, and the latest best practices in therapeutic care for individuals with learning disabilities.
Operational Excellence:
Manage budgets, operational processes, and referrals effectively and efficiently, ensuring the smooth and sustainable running of the home and the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Cultivate strong and collaborative relationships with local authorities, families, educational providers, healthcare professionals, and other key professionals within the UK care sector.
What You'll Bring:
Essential Qualification:
A
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
or equivalent.
Proven Experience:
Demonstrable and successful experience as a
Deputy Manager or Registered Manager
within a children's residential setting is essential. Strong understanding of LD and therapeutic approaches is critical.
Driving Licence:
A
valid UK Driving Licence
is required.
