Are you a passionate and experienced Registered Manager with a strong understanding of therapeutic approaches for young people with EBD? We are seeking a dedicated leader to

establish and manage a brand-new, 3-bedded therapeutic children's home in Leicester

, where you will have the autonomy to implement evidence-based practices and build a team committed to positive outcomes.

Your Role:

As the Registered Manager, you will be the driving force in creating a home that prioritizes the therapeutic needs of young people with EBD, fostering a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Therapeutic Model Implementation:

Develop and implement a clear therapeutic model for the home, ensuring all staff are trained and competent in its delivery.

Person-Centred Care Planning:

Oversee the development and implementation of highly individualised therapeutic care plans that address the specific emotional, social, and behavioural needs of each young person.

Team Leadership & Development:

Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop a skilled local staff team in Leicester, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to deliver effective therapeutic interventions.

Resource Management for Therapy:

Manage budgets and resources effectively to support the therapeutic model, including access to specialist training and interventions.

Community Integration:

Build strong links with local therapeutic services and resources within Leicester to enhance the support available to young people.

OFSTED Excellence:

Ensure the home consistently meets and exceeds OFSTED standards, with a strong focus on the quality of therapeutic care provided.

What You'll Bring:

Essential Experience:

Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a UK children's residential setting, with a strong preference for candidates with specific experience and expertise in working with young people with EBD and implementing therapeutic approaches, ideally within the Leicester area.

Essential Qualification:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.

Therapeutic Knowledge:

A deep understanding of the principles and practices of therapeutic care for young people with EBD.

Leadership & Communication:

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team around a therapeutic vision.

Essential Requirement:

Valid UK Driving Licence.
