Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Children's Manager to oversee the care and well-being of children in our facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all care plans are implemented effectively while providing leadership to our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, particularly within nursing homes or assisted living environments, and will be committed to delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage the daily operations of the children's care home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to each child's needs. Administer medication as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and guidelines. Lead and mentor a team of caregivers, fostering a positive environment that encourages professional development. Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and adjust care plans accordingly. Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care for each child. Maintain accurate records of care provided and participate in audits as necessary. Promote a culture of compassion and respect within the care home, ensuring that each child feels valued and supported.

Qualifications

Level 5 in Childcare or working towards Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising staff within a nursing home or assisted living environment. Strong understanding of medication administration protocols and senior care best practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and team members. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of care provision. A caring attitude towards children and a commitment to enhancing their quality of life through effective management practices.
