Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the home complies with Ofsted regulations and achieves at least "Good" or "Outstanding" ratings.
Lead, support, and develop the staff team to deliver outstanding care and positive outcomes.
Oversee the day-to-day management of the home, including budgeting, staffing, and rota planning.
Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
Develop and maintain individual care plans and risk assessments.
Liaise with external professionals, families, and local authorities.
Ensure policies, procedures, and standards are consistently followed.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children's residential setting.
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and relevant legislation.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards).
