We are currently seeking a highly skilled, compassionate, and experienced
Dual-Registered Manager
to lead operations at a children's residential care home in Manchester, covering the Chorlton and Withington areas.
This is a pivotal leadership role requiring
dual registration in both Health and Social Care
, with a strong background in managing children's care settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and emotional well-being of the children, while maintaining full compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the
day-to-day management
of the children's care home across both sites.
Provide strong, values-led leadership to multidisciplinary teams, promoting a culture of care, respect, and professionalism.
Ensure the home consistently meets or exceeds
regulatory and quality standards
(Ofsted, CQC).
Take overall responsibility for
safeguarding
, health, and well-being of the children in your care.
Develop and implement effective care plans and individualised support strategies.
Maintain accurate records and ensure all compliance and audit requirements are met.
Lead and support staff development, training, and supervision.
Engage with families, professionals, and external agencies to support holistic care.
Drive continuous improvement across the service and contribute to strategic planning.
Requirements:
Dual registration
with relevant Health and Social Care bodies (e.g., NMC, Social Work England).
Significant
experience in a senior management role
within children's residential care.
Demonstrated knowledge of
Ofsted frameworks
and
regulatory compliance
.
A recognised qualification in Health & Social Care (Level 5 or equivalent).
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Strong commitment to
safeguarding
and
child-centered care
.
Ability to manage budgets, staffing, and resources effectively.
