We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Children's Manager to oversee the care and wellbeing of children within our facility. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a team effectively while ensuring that all care plans are tailored to meet the individual needs of each child. The ideal candidate will have experience in medication administration, dementia care, and senior care, as well as a solid understanding of assisted living environments.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage staff in the delivery of high-quality care to children.
Develop and implement personalised care plans based on individual needs.
Administer medication as required, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all residents.
Provide leadership and support to team members, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and adapt care plans accordingly.
Ensure that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date, including care records and incident reports.
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for each child.
Promote best practices in dementia care and other relevant areas within the facility.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in children's management or a related field.
Proven experience in supervising staff within a care home or similar setting.
Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and assisted living standards.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Experience in developing care plans tailored to individual needs.
Compassionate approach towards children's care, with an understanding of their unique challenges.
Ability to work collaboratively with families and other professionals involved in children's care.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
