Role: Children's Registered Home Manager

Location: Wolverhampton, West midlands.

Starting September 2025.

At First Outcomes Group, we have a brand new children's home in Wolverhampton and are looking for a Manager who is ambitious, driven and wants to work for an organisation that is prepared to do things differently, to support its staff fully through training and support for you as well as the young people.

About the Company

First Outcomes Group provides specialist residential care to children and young people in the UK. From an initial assessment completed by our own Clinical Psychologists through to our leaving care support service, First Outcomes Group provides individually tailored interventions that achieve outstanding long term outcomes. With our therapeutic approach we support young people with a complex range of behaviours and challenges including specialising in self-harm, learning disability, attachment disorders and those at risk of child sexual exploitation.

About the Role and not limited to:

As the Registered Manager, you will:

Lead the opening and development of a new children's home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and delivering high-quality care. Build and manage a team of committed professionals, fostering a positive and supportive culture. Oversee all aspects of the home's operations, including safeguarding, care planning, and quality assurance. Work closely with our experienced multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for the children. Manage budgets effectively and ensure the home meets both operational and financial targets.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Previous OFSTED children's home registration Experience in residential childcare management Knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and safeguarding Strong leadership and communication skills
