Role Introduction

Working for LCH in a secure environment is unlike any other role. We operate as a community within a community, providing services such as nursing, GP, pharmacy, dentist, optician, health promotion & work in collaboration with CAMHS, substance misuse, and physiotherapy.



As a Registered Clinician in Aldine House , Wetherby YOI & Adel Beck, you'll work with vulnerable young people across all sites, your role will be varied, challenging, and rewarding.

Your responsibilities include:

Initial assessments into custody, Clinical assessments, risk assessments and management of a variety of health needs. You will facilitate nursing clinics. Administer medication, Immunisation and vaccinations, Triage and treat minor illness / injuries, attending emergency situations. Delivering age-appropriate health promotion sessions to this complex yet rewarding client group.


You'll work closely with prison departments, education, safer custody, and probation, ensuring holistic care.



At Adel Beck & Aldine house, services support children aged 10-17 in secure settings due to welfare or justice needs.



This is a cross site working role, you will be based in Aldine House SCH though you may be asked to provide healthcare provision in Adel Beck SCH & Wetherby YOI as per service need.
