Ultra-Care Health Professionals Ltd is a recruitment agency based in Newport. We are currently recruiting and supplying temporary staff for the Care sector. We are recruiting staff and securing contracts in South Wales.

As the company is looking to reach its full potential the need has come to take on an experienced Domiciliary Manager to facilitate smooth running of the domiciliary department within Ultra Care.

The ideal person for the job would need to be highly motivated with a good level of commitment and dedication to the job.

Please note that Registration with Social Care Wales (SCW) as a manager is required.

Roles and Responsibilities



Roles and Responsibilities would include:

To support the Registered Manager to remain compliant with Care Inspectorate regulations and Quality Assurance inspections. To develop and maintain strong relationships with carers. Engaging with new clients and their families to ensure that the care package on offer meets their every need and that the service they receive is of the highest quality. To establish strong links with the social work teams and other community team members to ensure business growth and continuity. To support the Registered Manager to promote and grow the business ensuring a sufficient number of staff at all times. To provide a cover service in the short- term absence of the Registered Manager. To support the Team in covering annual leave and absence. To monitor and review the care provided and to monitor quality assurance. To record and report on our electronic systems when required and recognise when referrals need to be made and understand the paperwork and procedures involved. Completion of care plans and risk assessments Completion of staff competencies Completion of staff supervision and appraisals Completion of audits and spot checks Cover care calls at times to ensure a safe and effective service Respond appropriately to complaints, concerns, and incidents

Skills and personal Qualities



Hold registration with Social Care Wales (SCW) as a manager.

Have a Level 5 Health and Social Care Management Qualification

Experience within a Domiciliary role

Have at least 1 year(s) management experience

Good accuracy and attention to detail

Good communication skills; written & verbal.

A confident and proactive approach to work

Self-motivated.

Experience and knowledge in and office packages (Word, excel and PowerPoint) and internal systems for Domiciliary workers.

Salary:



Part-time / Full-time hours: To be discussed at interview to meet the needs of the business.

Salary: TBC

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 32,081.00-33,729.00 per year
