Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate
Registered General Nurse (RGN)
to join our dynamic acute inpatient mental health service. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in delivering high-quality physical health care to service users experiencing acute mental health challenges.As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will focus on monitoring, managing, and promoting the physical health and wellbeing of our inpatients, working closely with both mental health, multi disciplinary team and external services.
Responsibilities
Provide holistic physical health assessments and ongoing monitoring for service users. Manage physical health interventions, including wound care, long-term condition management, and health promotion. Work collaboratively with mental health professionals to ensure integrated care planning. Contribute to staff training around physical health awareness and procedures. Maintain accurate, timely, and professional documentation.
Requirements
Registered General Nurse (RGN)
with valid NMC registration. A genuine interest in working within mental health settings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to 40,705.00 per year
