We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered General Nurse to join a dedicated healthcare team. Duties



Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation using advanced EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Administer medications via injections, IV infusions, and catheter care while adhering strictly to aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations. Perform diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection, processing, and interpretation of diagnostic imaging results like CT scans or sonography. Provide specialized care in areas such as ICU, emergency medicine, geriatrics, hospice & palliative medicine, behavioral health, and pediatrics. Manage acute pain through appropriate interventions; assist with complex procedures such as suturing, tube feeding management, and ventilator support. Support patients with developmental disabilities or memory care needs by implementing tailored care plans aligned with NCQA standards and MDS requirements. Lead patient education initiatives on health coaching topics such as medication management, nutrition, and post-discharge discharge planning. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless case management and discharge planning for inpatient and outpatient populations.

Experience



Proven experience working in hospital environments such as Level I or Level II trauma centers; ICU or PICU experience highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in critical care settings including emergency room experience and trauma medicine. Strong background in medical-surgical nursing with familiarity in ICD-10/ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation and billing processes. Experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks is essential for efficient patient record management. Prior work in long-term care facilities such as nursing homes or assisted living communities; home & community care experience is advantageous. Knowledge of infectious disease care protocols, infection control practices, and occupational health standards. Skilled in performing complex procedures including catheterization (urinary or cardiac), phlebotomy, ostomy care, and gastrostomy tube management. Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations including children (neonatal ventilator), seniors (geriatrics), and individuals with disabilities or dementia (Alzheimer's & dementia care).
