Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurse to join healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. This role involves working in various settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and outpatient clinics, providing comprehensive nursing services to patients of all ages. The Registered General Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities



Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team. Provide wound care, including suturing and catheter care, as needed. Assist with diagnostic evaluations and procedures such as IV infusion and phlebotomy. Educate patients and families on health management, medication administration, and post-discharge care. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards. Provide support in various specialties such as emergency medicine, critical care, pediatrics, geriatrics, and hospice & palliative medicine.

Requirements



Current RN licensure in the state of practice. Experience in acute care settings; hospital experience preferred. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) for effective medical documentation. Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding for accurate billing processes. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Experience with specialized nursing skills such as IV insertion, tube feeding, ventilator management, or pain management is highly desirable. Background in working with diverse populations including those with developmental disabilities or chronic illnesses is a plus. Ability to perform physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations competently. Candidates with additional certifications or experience in areas such as botulinum toxin treatment, cardiac catheterization, dialysis, or trauma medicine will be considered favorably. Pay: 19.00-20.00 per hour
