Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to patients in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct and best practice standards.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised patient care plans.
Administer medications and treatments safely, following protocols and guidelines.
Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and clinical observations.
Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive patient records using appropriate documentation tools.
Liaise effectively with doctors, other nurses, healthcare assistants, and allied professionals.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and escalating clinical concerns.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, health conditions, and post-discharge care.
Comply with infection prevention and control standards, safeguarding procedures, and health & safety regulations.
Participate in audits, training, and continuous professional development (CPD) activities.
Contribute to team meetings and support a positive, inclusive working environment.
