Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. This role involves working in various settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and outpatient clinics, to provide high-quality nursing services to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, suturing, and phlebotomy as needed. Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for patients. Uphold infection control standards and ensure a safe environment for patients.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:

Critical care experience, including ICU or emergency medicine. Long-term care experience in nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks. Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation. Experience in specialties such as pediatrics, geriatrics, hospice & palliative medicine, or trauma medicine. Proficiency in performing diagnostic evaluations and managing acute pain. Background in behavioral health or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. Candidates should also possess strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care.
