About the service:



Willowbrook House is a specialist Mental Health care facility in Corby located near to the characterful old High Street. This purpose-built modern care-home environment provides a high-quality nursing care and long-term rehabilitation for people with severe mental health difficulties, behaviours that challenge including dementia and high dependency nursing needs.

Our service supports a wide range of care pathways, including:

Specialist nursing care for those with severe and enduring mental health problems combined with physical illness / disability Dementia care including early onset dementia care Behaviours that challenge Specialist care for those entitled to Section 117 aftercare Those who are on a Discharge to Assess Pathway People who require a Care Programme Approach (CPA), a Community Treatment Order (CTO), Conditional Discharge from MOJ or Guardianship Order under the Mental Health Act 1983 Learning disability (mild) Forensic history

Key Responsibilities of the Role:



Coordinating the planning and implementation of patient care Developing and coordinating individual or group therapeutic activities Managing aspects of medication management in line with the Trust and NMC guidelines Participating in clinical review meetings Promoting, fostering, and ensuring good working relationships Adhering to all NMC, CQC and local authority standards and guidelines including the NMC code of professional conduct Acting as an advocate for our patients and residents
