Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and medical histories. Develop and implement individualised care plans based on patient needs and preferences. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety standards. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the medical team promptly. Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.

Skills

Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices. Proficient understanding of human anatomy and physiology. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound clinical decisions. Empathy and compassion towards patients, demonstrating a commitment to their well-being. Flexibility in adapting to changing situations within the healthcare setting.
