We are currently looking for carer's to join our friendly, supportive and dedicated team in our warm, homely and active environment, Ash Croft House Nursing Home.

Requirements:

part time - 12 hour shifts.

. Night and day shifts

shift patterns to include a share of weekends.

Professional care experience is not essential as full training is provided but a passion for care is a must. We are particularly interested in hearing from people who have experience of caring for family members.

Responsbilites and Duties:

The role will include, but not be limited to:

To support and assist the Registered & Deputy Manager in the management for each of the service functions within the Home. Ensure that necessary medical treatments are carried out and the implementation of Care Plans maintained. Maintaining close supervision and care of the seriously ill, confused and inarticulate Service Users. Ensuring that Service Users are treated with kindness and courtesy at all times and that their dignity is maintained. To do any other duties directly applicable to good nursing care of Service Users. To be knowledgeable regarding the whereabouts of all Service Users at all times. To remain a member of the day-to-day hands-on care team with the majority of working time spent in contact with Service Users as opposed to being office based. To liaise with the Manager in preparation and updating of care plans when and where necessary. Assist in the organisation, implementation, recording and maintenance of Service Users appointments for Doctor's, Hospital, Dental etc.

Qualifications and Skills

Must have an active NMC registered PIN.
