What you'll do
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care strategies for patients.
Monitor vital signs and perform diagnostic evaluations to assess patient conditions effectively.
Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care to ensure continuity of services.
Basic qualifications
Valid nursing license as a Registered General Nurse
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner
Preferred qualifications
Experience in critical care settings such as ICU or emergency medicine
Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation
Background in geriatrics or long-term care environments such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities
Skills in IV insertion, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS) certification
