Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate proficiency in various nursing practices. This role involves working in diverse settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and outpatient clinics. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing assessments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Duties



Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management. Perform procedures such as IV insertion, suturing, catheterization, and phlebotomy. Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for accurate documentation of patient information. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in critical care settings. Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for patients. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards. Engage in continuous professional development through training in areas such as acute pain management, hospice & palliative medicine, and trauma medicine.

Requirements



Valid nursing license with relevant experience in acute care or long-term care settings. Proficiency in EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner is preferred. Experience in specialized areas such as pediatrics, geriatrics, or critical care is advantageous. Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and CPT coding is beneficial. Strong skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and basic life support techniques. Familiarity with various medical procedures including dialysis, ventilator management, and tube feeding. Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring memory care. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Commitment to providing compassionate care while adhering to NCQA standards. Pay: 22.50-24.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 55 per week

10 hour shift 12 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Night shift
