About the Role



We are seeking experienced

Nursing Home Registered General Nurses (RGNs)

to join a respected network of care providers in

Manchester

and surrounding areas. This temporary position gives you the flexibility to work where and when suits you best - while making a real difference in the lives of residents and service users.

As an RGN, you will deliver person-centred, clinically safe care and contribute to a supportive, respectful, and empowering environment.

Job Summary:



The Care Home Nurse provides nursing support in residential and nursing homes, ensuring elderly residents receive compassionate, person-centred care. This includes clinical assessments, medication administration, and leading care teams.

Key Responsibilities:



Deliver personal and clinical care to elderly residents, including those with dementia Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans Monitor and assess residents' health and well-being Update and manage care plans and risk assessments Liaise with GPs, families, and social care professionals Lead and supervise care assistants during shifts Maintain accurate nursing notes and MAR charts Uphold dignity, privacy, and safeguarding standards

Essential Requirements



Valid

NMC registration (RGN)

Minimum

6 months of recent clinical experience

in a UK healthcare setting Up-to-date clinical skills and knowledge of best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Strong organisational and time-management skills Valid

Right to Work

in the UK Up-to-date

DBS certificate

(on the Update Service) Completed

mandatory training

A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care

Desirable Experience



Leadership or mentorship training Familiarity with electronic patient records (EPR) Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and nights Full UK Driving Licence (preferred, but not essential depending on client needs)

25.00-35.00 per hour including holiday pay (depending on shift, location, and experience)
