Job Title: Registered General Nurse (Nights)

What you'll do

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessments, medication administration, and treatment plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care strategies. Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition. Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health management and treatment options. Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform procedures such as IV insertion, suturing, and catheter care with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques. Participate in triage processes, prioritizing patient needs effectively during emergency situations. Engage with patients experiencing developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges, fostering a safe and inclusive environment.

Experience

Valid nursing license as a Registered General Nurse with relevant clinical experience. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation. Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and NCQA standards to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Background in long-term care or assisted living environments is an asset. Knowledge of pain management techniques and acute pain management protocols is preferred. Experience working with diverse populations, including geriatrics, pediatrics, or individuals with disabilities.
