We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and providing high-quality nursing care in various settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and outpatient clinics. Duties
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition.
Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and treatment options.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Perform procedures such as IV insertion, suturing, catheterization, and phlebotomy as needed.
Participate in discharge planning and case management for patients transitioning to home or other facilities.
Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during procedures.
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing.
Qualifications
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Experience in acute care settings such as hospitals or long-term care facilities is preferred.
Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth.
Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical documentation.
Critical care experience is highly desirable; familiarity with Level I or II trauma centers is a plus.
Knowledge of various specialties including pediatrics, geriatrics, internal medicine, hospice & palliative medicine, and behavioral health is beneficial.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while providing compassionate patient-centered care.
