Registered General Nurse (RGN)

Your Key Responsibilities:
As a valued RGN with us, you will be responsible for:
Clinical Care Delivery:
Providing high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to our residents, including medication administration, wound management, catheter care, and chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, COPD).
Person-Centred Care Planning:
Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualised care plans in collaboration with residents, their families, and the wider multi-disciplinary team (MDT).
Leadership & Supervision:
Providing clinical leadership and supervision to a team of Healthcare Assistants (HCAs), promoting best practices and a positive team culture.
Monitoring & Assessment:
Conducting regular health assessments, monitoring residents' conditions, and taking appropriate action when changes occur.
Safe Medication Practices:
Managing the storage, administration, and auditing of medications in line with NMC standards and company policy.
Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential nursing records using our electronic care planning system.
Communication:
Building strong, therapeutic relationships with residents and their families, acting as a key liaison and source of support.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensuring all care is delivered in line with the NMC Code of Conduct, CQC fundamental standards, and company policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For (Requirements):
Essential:
A valid
NMC PIN
as a
Registered General Nurse (RGN)
or
Registered Nurse (Adult)
.
A genuine passion for elderly care and a commitment to person-centred approaches.
Excellent clinical skills and knowledge, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with empathy and patience.
The legal right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
Previous experience in a care home, elderly care, or community setting.
Experience in palliative/end-of-life care.
A mentorship qualification or willingness to work towards one.
