We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a passion for providing high-quality patient care. Duties
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for:
Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing individualized care plans.
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV infusion, injections, and tube feeding.
Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in patient conditions.
Performing procedures such as suturing, catheterization, and phlebotomy.
Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Educating patients and families about health management, treatment plans, and medication administration.
Maintaining accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Providing support in various specialties including critical care, emergency medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and more.
Engaging in discharge planning and case management to ensure continuity of care.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
A background in critical care settings (ICU experience) or emergency room environments.
Familiarity with long-term care facilities or assisted living environments.
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation processes.
Proficiency in acute pain management techniques and infection control practices.
Experience working with diverse populations including those with developmental disabilities or chronic illnesses.
Skills in areas such as hospice & palliative medicine, trauma medicine, home care, or outpatient services. Preferred qualifications may include experience administering botulinum toxin treatments or dermal fillers, as well as familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) and CPT coding. Candidates should also demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
