Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and medical histories. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patients for side effects or adverse reactions. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and disease prevention. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance nursing practices and stay current with medical advancements.

Qualifications

Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification is preferred. Strong clinical assessment skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective patient interaction. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is advantageous but not essential for newly qualified nurses. A commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
