Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate

Registered General Nurse (RGN)

to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care, support patients across various healthcare settings, and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

This role is suitable for an experienced RGN looking to work flexibly while delivering outstanding patient care in NHS hospitals, care homes, or community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver safe and effective nursing care in line with NMC standards. Monitor, assess, and record patient health conditions. Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed. Work collaboratively with doctors, healthcare assistants, and other professionals. Provide emotional support and health education to patients and families. Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and care plans. Ensure infection control and health & safety procedures are followed. Respond to emergencies and provide critical care support when required.

Requirements:

Current

NMC registration

as a Registered General Nurse (RGN). Minimum 6-12 months of recent experience in nursing. Up-to-date clinical training (e.g., BLS, Manual Handling). Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills. Ability to work flexibly, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Desirable Skills:

IV therapy training/certification. Experience in NHS or private hospital settings. Knowledge of safeguarding, infection control, and CQC standards.
