As a Registered Nurse, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across a range of medical needs. Your responsibilities will span from administering medications and monitoring patient conditions to collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional nursing care by assessing patient needs and implementing individualised care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols.
Monitor and document patients' vital signs, symptoms, and progress, reporting any changes promptly to the medical team.
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and allied healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Provide clear education to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medication instructions, and post-discharge care.
Maintain thorough, accurate, and up-to-date medical records in compliance with NMC standards and healthcare regulations.
Uphold best practices in infection control, patient safety, and hospital protocols.
Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with evolving clinical standards and advancements in healthcare.
Qualifications & Skills
Valid registration with the
Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
as a Registered Nurse.
Proven experience in
hospital or medical facility settings
is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology relevant to patient care.
Skilled in the administration of medications and proficient in using a range of medical equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients and colleagues.
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail in managing patient caseloads and clinical documentation.
A compassionate, empathetic approach to nursing with a strong focus on patient dignity, safety, and well-being.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: 23.00-25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
