An exciting opportunity to be involved in the set up and development of a new children's home to be registered as LD/EBD based on existing proven track record of 'Good' rated homes in Oxfordshire.



Job Title : Registered Manager



Location: Oxford; Relocation Packages Available!



Salary : up to 65,000 per annum PLUS bonus scheme packages

Contract: Full Time; Permanent



Essential: A full driving licence, and the Right to Work in the UK



This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered manager or a deputy manager ready to step up and has high standards and a clear vision to lead on the creation of an established operational home existing of a full permanent team with a deputy manager.

Duties



Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring that all staff provide high-quality care to young people. Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans tailored to meet the needs of each child. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations governing medication administration and care standards. Foster a supportive environment for both staff and young people, promoting teamwork and effective communication. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the care of our young people and staff performance. Provide mentoring and support to staff on best practices in residential childcare. Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support and a multi agency approach to the care we provide.

Qualification/Key Skills Required:



Proven experience in a managerial role within a residential childcare Currently hold a

Level 5 in Leadership and Management

(or working towards if an experiences deputy). Experience of working with Ofsted and in line with the regulations Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with young people, stakeholders, families, and staff alike.

Pay: 55,000.00-65,000.00 per year
