The Role
We're looking for an experienced Registered Manager in children's residential that wants to join a company that values staff and children first. The home is of very high quality and specification. Key Experience and Qualifications required:
Level 5 in Leadership and Management of Children and Young People's Workforce (or working towards).
At least 2 years of experience working with children and young people in the last 5 years with at least 1 year in a supervision and management role of staff working in a children's residential care role.
Level 3 or 4 Residential Childcare qualification
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Effective supervision and leadership skills
A full manual UK Driving Licence
Key Responsibilities include:
Manage the daily running of the children's home
With our support, apply and prepare for registration with Ofsted
Ensure operational and procedural compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures
Ensure care is provided to the highest standards at all times
Manage the care staff to help them deliver the best care
Develop positive relationships with staff and children
Assess the training and development needs of the staff
Lead the home through all Ofsted inspections
Implement best practice within the home
