Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Manager to lead our children's home in Northampton. You will be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring it operates in line with Ofsted regulations and provides the highest standards of care. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement care plans that promote the well-being and development of each child. Ensure the home provides a nurturing and therapeutic environment that meets the emotional, physical, and psychological needs of children. Recruit, train, and manage a team of dedicated staff, promoting professional development and high performance. Monitor and maintain high standards of care, safeguarding, and risk management. Build and maintain effective relationships with external agencies, stakeholders, and families. Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and person-centred care.
Requirements
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Minimum of 4 years of managerial experience in a children's residential care setting. Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding policies, and child protection procedures. Full UK driving licence
