Job Overview


We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Children's Manager to oversee the care and well-being of young people in our 3-bed facility in Stainforth, Doncaster. This role involves managing a dedicated team of support workers while ensuring high standards of care are maintained.

Role:



We are looking for a Registered Manager or a Deputy who is prepared to step up, who can create a home for our children, and enable positive significant Outcomes.

As the Manager, not only is your duty of care to the children, but also to the team of adults working within the home. Being able to inspire, communicate, stay calm under pressure and stay positive when plans get derailed is key in ensuring your team is working effectively.

Responsibilities



Manage daily operations within the children's care facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Supervise and support staff in delivering high-quality care to children, including those with special needs. Develop individual care plans tailored to each child's needs, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary. Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices in Foster positive relationships with families, providing updates on their children's progress and addressing any concerns. Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the environment, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments. Collaborate with care professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for children.

Requirements



? Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children

? Have at least two years in a role supervising staff

? Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Or equivalent)

? Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or be prepared to acquire within 2 years)

? Have held a GOOD or OUTSTANDING grade within recent Ofsted Inspections

? A Deputy Manager with at least 3 years in the role and the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Care prepared to train for the Level 5 Diploma

Pay: 55,000.00-65,000.00 per year
