We are seeking a driven and experienced

Registered Manager

to lead a

4-bed children's residential home

specialising in supporting young people with

Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

. With capped occupancy at 50% initially, this is an exciting opportunity to focus on embedding high-quality practice and creating a safe, nurturing culture from the ground up.

You'll benefit from extensive Responsible Individual (RI) support, including dedicated hours with the RI and consultancy back-up for cross-comparison and mentoring. This role is designed for someone ready to make a real impact, supported by a team that understands the challenges and rewards of residential care.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and inspire the team to deliver outstanding care and support. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and maintain high inspection outcomes. Oversee safeguarding, care planning, and placement stability. Drive a therapeutic, child-centred culture that prioritises positive outcomes. Manage resources effectively, ensuring safe and welcoming environments for young people.

Candidate Requirements



Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Minimum 2 years' leadership experience in a children's residential setting. Must have been through at least one Ofsted inspection as a leader or deputy. Ready to step up into a Registered Manager role - or already an RM looking for a new challenge. Strong commitment to safeguarding, compliance, and staff development.
