Spire Home is a person-centred organisation that promotes independence and self-advocacy for adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism to six service users in its dedicated facility. We are committed to providing an enriched and positive environment, quality programs and integrated support network for families and caregivers all of which are designed to promote growth, independence, and social interaction. Spire Home utilises a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approach to support adults on the Learning Disabilities Spectrum reach their greatest potential. We believe that through comprehensive data-driven assessment and intervention, a creative and flexible approach and a real focus on Person-Centred Support (involving individuals in their own support packages), all individuals on the Autism Spectrum can learn, thrive and achieve.

Spire Home offers specifically designed services to adults learning disabilities, complex needs and challenging behaviour who require care and support in a progressive life-long learning environment. Spire Home aims to provide a friendly service with resources and opportunities that enable individuals to maximise their strengths helping them to live in a safe, motivating and adapting environment. The support provided is individualised and person-centred.

Job description



An individual who is already registered with CQC or completed NVQ Level 5

1. To hold responsibility for the operational management of Spire Home for people with mental health issues.
2. To ensure that the service provided is responsive to the needs and preferences of the residents. To ensure that all contract requirements and expectations are fully met.

3. To take action and to ensure that all the requirements are met or exceeded across the service.

4. To ensure that residents receive individualised person centred support and care which enables them to enjoy a fulfilling and valued life, to participate in the community and to develop their abilities as fully as possible.

5. To deputise for the Chair Person/Registered Individual and to be responsible for the management and overall quality of the service in their absence. To accept supervision from the Chair Person/Registered Individual and to attend management meetings with them.
