We are seeking a highly experienced and compassionate Registered Domiciliary Manager to oversee our home care services specialising in senior and dementia care. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, and leading a dedicated team of care professionals. Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Lead, supervise, and support a team of care staff, fostering a positive and professional working environment.
Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans tailored to individual needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality senior care, including medication administration and specialised dementia support.
Monitor service quality through audits, feedback, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all staff adhere to policies regarding medication management and health & safety protocols.
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate effective care delivery.
Lead staff training programmes to ensure ongoing professional development in areas such as dementia care, assisted living, and home care services.
Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels efficiently to meet service demands.
Qualifications
Proven experience in senior or dementia care settings such as assisted living or nursing homes.
Strong background in management or supervisory roles within the care sector.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing adult social care and home care services.
Demonstrable expertise in developing personalised care plans and medication administration procedures.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams effectively.
Compassionate approach with a commitment to delivering person-centred care for vulnerable adults.
Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 4 or 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent are highly desirable.
Experience in managing complex cases involving Alzheimer's disease or other cognitive impairments is preferred.
