Role: Registered Children's and Young Adults - Home Manager
Location: Cannock, West Midlands
Salary: From 50,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Our specialisation is in supporting children and young people who have experienced early-life trauma, neglect, or abuse and may exhibit challenging behaviours.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
Managing a residential home and ensuring its effective operation in line with relevant legislation, procedures, policies, and the Statement of Purpose for the home.
Supporting the staff who work with our young people to achieve the highest standards of care.
Participating in team recruitment, which involves vetting, interviewing, and inducting new employees.
Contributing to a thorough team training and development program to ensure the service has all the necessary skills and expertise to meet the needs of the young people.
Supporting the team to promote longevity and good staff retention.
Liaising with various internal and external multi-disciplinary teams and commissioning authorities to ensure the care needs of new and existing children and young people are met.
Job Requirements
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services; an equivalent qualification; or a willingness to work toward the same.
Prior experience at a senior level in a residential children's home.
A full manual driving license.
A commitment to ongoing professional development to support the needs of our young people.
