A well-established and expanding national care provider is opening a brand-new residential service in High Wycombe. Dedicated to delivering person-centred support for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs, the organisation is recognised as a top employer with a strong commitment to leadership development and workplace wellbeing.

The Role:



We're seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead the launch and ongoing development of this new residential care service. From day one, you'll shape the culture, set quality standards, and drive excellence in care delivery.

Working closely with senior leadership, and supported through structured training and development programmes, you'll lead a motivated team to provide exceptional care and support to people with diverse and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:



Commission and lead the setup of a new service for adults with learning disabilities and autism. Register with CQC as the Service Manager and ensure all regulatory requirements are met and exceeded. Recruit, train and manage a team of support staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. Ensure the service delivers safe, responsive, and effective care, enabling people to lead fulfilling and independent lives. Develop and maintain individual care plans that reflect the personal goals and needs of each resident. Manage staffing levels, rotas, budgets and resources in line with business and care priorities. Promote a positive culture of inclusion, respect, and empowerment across the team. Maintain rigorous quality assurance systems and produce accurate management reporting.

What We're Looking For:



Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a residential or supported living setting. Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and experience managing services for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviours. A minimum Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (support is available for Level 4 and 5). Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and communication skills. Ability to build a high-performing, motivated team and maintain a strong, person-centred care culture. A proactive, flexible and solutions-focused mindset with experience in new service commissioning or development.
