Camellia Court is a brand-new service located within Red Kite Meadows, a state-of-the-art care village in Flitwick, Bedfordshire. Developed in partnership with Central Bedfordshire Council, this service is set to launch soon and will provide person-centred support for up to six individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs, as well as up to two individuals with physical disabilities.
This exciting new role offers a unique opportunity to shape and lead a brand-new service from the ground up. You'll play a key role in building a strong, dedicated team--personally selecting your own support workers and team leaders to help launch and grow the service. At

Main Duties of a Registered Manager:
Ensure Regulatory Compliance
: Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations, Health and Social Care Act, and all relevant legislation, policies, and best practices.
Lead Person-Centred Care
: Champion and oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care tailored to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
Staff Recruitment & Management
: Recruit, develop, and lead a skilled, compassionate team, including support workers and team leaders, ensuring effective performance and supervision.
Service Development
: Lead the ongoing development and improvement of the service, including implementation of care plans, risk assessments, and quality assurance systems.
Family & Stakeholder Engagement
: Build strong, respectful relationships with service users, their families, external professionals, and local authorities.
Safeguarding & Risk Management
: Take lead responsibility for safeguarding, health and safety, and risk management within the service.
Care Planning & Reviews
: Oversee the development, implementation, and regular review of personalised care plans and support strategies.
Promote Inclusion & Rights
: Uphold and advocate for the rights, choices, and dignity of people with learning disabilities, promoting independence and inclusion.
Budget & Resource Management
: Manage the service budget effectively, ensuring efficient use of resources and financial accountability.
Drive Quality & Outcomes
: Monitor service outcomes, conduct audits, respond to feedback, and lead on continuous improvement to achieve and maintain a

Requirements:
First and foremost, our priority is that you share our values, have a passion for helping others, can work positively within a team (even when things aren't easy!) and bring joy and laughter to the role, both with those we support and those we work with.
In addition to this, we require a minimum of 3 years' experience in a management role within learning disability services, of which at least 1 year must be as a registered manager.
We do also need you to:
Be eligible to work in the UK (Please note we do not offer Sponsorship)
Have strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
A caring nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
Undertake an Enhanced DBS check (Paid for by us)
