We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager (minimum 2 years experience) to oversee the operations of our new 3 bed children's care home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in childcare, with direct knowledge of ofsted guidelines and inspection framework (require 2 full inspections with outcome of good or above).

This role requires exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care for residential children, particularly those with learning difficulties and other complex needs.

The Registered Manager will be responsible for ensuring that care plans are effectively implemented and that the highest standards of care are maintained.

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to the needs of residents. Lead and supervise a team, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal childcare. Foster a positive environment that promotes the well-being and dignity Conduct regular assessments of needs and adjust care plans accordingly. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to care and staff performance. Liaise with families, healthcare providers, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support Ensure staff training and development programs are in place to enhance skills in childcare and the relevant areas.
Skills

Proven experience in managing a home in a multi-bed setting Strong understanding of home care practices Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire, build and motivate a diverse team. In-depth knowledge of childcare principles and best practices. Ability to develop effective care plans that meet individual child needs. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and compliance matters. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with professionals, families, and staff. A compassionate approach towards caring for children, ensuring their safeguarding is upheld at all times. Preferred

Posess level 5 in Working with Children, young people and families in residential Care with management in residential children's care.
Experience:

Leadership: 3 years (preferred), with at least x2 Ofsted full inspections, graded good or above. Desirable: knowledge of sector used intranet systems, clear care or comparable softwares. KPI knowledge would be beneficial to the ideal candidate.preferably Driving licence, however must be flexible to meet the needs of the young people if not holding.

Pay: 52,500.00-60,000.00 per year
