We have made a significant investment in developing our own children's homes, with our second home opening in early 2026 to specialise in supporting children and young people who are on the edge of care or who require an emergency placement for a short period. The team will support children to remain at home whilst providing interventions which focus on their social, emotional, and behavioural needs.


Having our own children's homes will give our children and young people the opportunity to remain living in their home city, ensuring that they can maintain relationships with family and friends, and avoid unnecessary disruption in education/training.


This is a truly unique opportunity to build and develop a strong team to work collaboratively with children and their families to promote their relationships to reduce and manage risks that they are exposed to. This approach will enable our children and young people to flourish and reach their full potential.


The Role:

As a Children's Registered Manager, you will be responsible for managing, developing, and leading a children's home on a day-to-day basis, delivering the highest level of care and support to our children and young people, whilst focusing on improving outcomes for every individual Our Registered Managers are required to hold a NVQ Level 5 Leadership and Management for Children's Residential Childcare or have a willingness to achieve this. The post holder should also have extensive experience within a Children's Residential Home, having previously worked as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager As a Registered Manager, you will be confident to ensure that the home meets its statutory obligations to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people, whilst complying with all legislation, statutory guidance, policies, and procedures The post holder will embed and maintain a high performance culture by supporting your team to continually develop their skills so they can achieve the best outcomes. Through regular reflective supervision with your team, you will champion their personal and professional growth and health and wellbeing, ensuring an inclusive and compassionate approach Alongside your role as a people manager, you will provide clear oversight of all children and young people, ensuring quality standards are maintained, championing good practice to reduce risks, build on strengths, and achieve consistent positive outcomes together
