Responsibilities

Lead and manage the daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Supervise and support staff, fostering a positive working environment that encourages professional development. Develop and implement individualised care plans for residents, focusing on their specific needs related to senior care, dementia, and Alzheimer's. Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and accuracy in compliance with healthcare regulations. Conduct regular assessments of resident care needs and adjust care plans accordingly. Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Monitor the quality of care provided and implement improvements where necessary to enhance resident satisfaction. Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the sustainability of the facility while delivering high-quality services.

Requirements

Proven experience in a management role within an assisted living or nursing home setting. Strong background in nursing or senior care with specific knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer's care practices. Excellent leadership skills with a track record of supervising teams effectively. Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual resident needs. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with residents, families, and staff members.
