Registered Manager - Children's Residential Service (Manchester)

About the Role

You will take full responsibility for the strategic and operational leadership of the home. Your focus will be on fostering a therapeutic, nurturing environment and ensuring your team delivers consistent, high-quality support that empowers children to grow and thrive.

Main Responsibilities

Provide clear leadership, direction and professional guidance to your team Ensure compliance with Ofsted, safeguarding regulations and all statutory requirements Work proactively with local authorities, social workers and external partners Oversee robust care planning and ensure each child receives personalised support Maintain a positive home environment built on stability, trust and emotional safety Drive continuous improvement and strive for 'Good' and 'Outstanding' outcomes

About You

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Residential Childcare (or working towards completing) Experienced Registered or Deputy Manager within a children's home Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and behaviour support Confident decision-maker with excellent communication and people-management skills Dedicated to protecting and improving the lives of vulnerable children
