This includes overnight accommodation. You will ensure the home is operated to the highest possible standard ensuring the children's needs are met in accordance with the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.As the Registered Manager you will be required to lead, inspire and manage a team providing appropriate guidance, support, supervision and training in order to maintain a highly motivated and competent workforce.You must have up to date and extensive knowledge of legislation, statutory guidance, Ofsted regulations, Inspection Frameworks, Quality Standards and Children's Homes Regulations 2015, together with extensive experience of working in a residential setting.You will be expected to be part of an on-call rota and available on occasions to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.In return you will be offered excellent support and training opportunities, including generous staff benefits.Essential Qualifications

• NVQ Level 4 in Child Care or equivalent
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or working towards
• GCSE in Maths and English at Grade 5-9, or equivalent
• To meet and maintain registration requirements as Registered Manager with Ofsted

Essential Experience

• At least 4 years management experience in a provision which supports disabled children and their families.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience of direct working within a children's residential setting.
• Experience of managing budgets and financial systems effectively.
• Demonstrable experience of effectively leading staff teams and line management experience
• Experience of developing partnership working with other professionals, liaising with other service providers and outside partner agencies including Ofsted.
• Able to demonstrate knowledge and/or experience of equalities and diversity issues.
