Our new 3-bed home will provide a nurturing, therapeutic environment where every young person feels safe, valued, and supported to reach their full potential.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead our first children's home through Ofsted registration and beyond.
As part of our growth plans, we have two additional properties identified for dual registration, offering fantastic progression opportunities for the right person to advance into a multi-home or senior management role -- with salary growth up to 75,000.
The starting salary for registering the 3-bed EBD home is up to 60,000.

The Role
As Children's Home Manager, you will:
? Support the Directors and Responsible Individual to achieve Ofsted registration (application in progress)
? Manage the home efficiently in line with legislation, policies, and the Statement of Purpose
? Drive high-quality care, aiming for a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating
? Lead, recruit, train, and supervise staff
? Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of children and young people
Implement recommendations from inspections and Regulation 44 reports
? Provide written reports for reviews, case conferences, and senior management meetings
Operational Responsibilities
? Manage the day-to-day running of the home and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and the Children Act
? Maintain an in-depth understanding of safeguarding legislation and best practice
? Ensure all recommendations from inspections and Regulation 44 reports are implemented within designated timescales
? Deliver strong communication and partnership with professionals, families, and external agencies
? Ensure that high standards of care, education, and personal development are consistently maintained
Recruitment and Leadership
? Provide effective leadership and management of the home
? Recruit, induct, train, and supervise a strong staff team
? Create a culture and ethos that supports the complex needs of each young person
? Promote the education, physical health, and emotional well-being of all children and young people
? Ensure the highest possible standards of physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural care
Qualifications and Experience
? Minimum of 2 years' experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children
? At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role within a children's residential or similar setting
? Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce - Essential
? Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) - Essential or working towards
? Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager meeting Ofsted criteria
