As we prepare for Ofsted registration, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to build a loving environment for children and young people, under the support of an experienced Responsible Individual -- from pre-registration to full occupancy and beyond.

About the Role
A Registered Manager is the heart of a children's home. As Registered Manager, you will:
Be positive, and relationship-focused leader to build and guide our home for children with learning disabilities, autism, and associated needs.
Create a warm, stable, and family-like environment where children feel safe, happy, and connected.
Lead with integrity, compassion, and professionalism.
Ofsted Pre-registration preparation to full occupation under the support of an RI with over 20 years experience in social health and care, including children's home.
Oversee daily care, staff supervision, safeguarding, and compliance with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Ofsted's Quality Standards.
Build a staff team that maintains positive relationships with children, staff, families, and professionals.
Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive atmosphere and environment where every child can develop life skills, grow in confidence, and prepare for the future.
Manage rotas, training, finance and performance, ensuring a capable and caring team.
Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections, meeting or exceeding the Quality Standards.
Well communication with all management, professionals and staff.

You are also someone who also has:
At least 5 years of relevant experience working with children or young people in residential settings, including at least 1 years at a managerial level (in a Deputy position).
A strong understanding of children's social care, safeguarding, and trauma-informed practice.
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or a willingness to complete a Level 5 qualification through on-the-job training or an equivalent program.
Eligibility to register with Ofsted as a Registered Manager.
A full, clean UK driving licence.
Availability to work Monday-Friday (9am-5pm), with shared on-call responsibilities.
