We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead our care home, ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, with expertise in managing assisted living and nursing home environments. This role requires a compassionate leader who can effectively supervise staff, develop care plans, and provide exceptional support to residents with varying needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in senior care.
Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to the specific needs of residents.
Manage and supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care delivery.
Conduct regular assessments of resident health and wellbeing, adjusting care plans as necessary.
Facilitate training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills in medication administration and dementia care.
Foster a positive environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence for all residents.
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care services.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care and staff performance.
Experience
Proven experience in a management role within an assisted living or nursing home setting is essential.
Strong background in nursing or senior care, with specific experience in dementia and Alzheimer's care preferred.
Demonstrated ability to develop effective care plans that meet the diverse needs of residents.
Excellent leadership skills with a track record of supervising teams effectively.
Knowledge of medication administration protocols and best practices in home care is advantageous.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage positively with residents, families, and staff alike.
